U12 & U12 Plus

Age 10 & 11 as of December 31, 2016 born in 2005/2006

– Athletes will engage in a combination of training and racing
– Dryland training begins the end of August through to November
– Athletes born in 2005/2006 race in the U12 Age Category
– The U12 race calendar covers 3-4 weekends highlighting; Slalom, Giant Slalom and Sprint format racing
– Volunteering at least 2 home races and 12 hours per child

U12 Program – 55 days on snow
4 Provincial Races & in House Cookie Cup Race
Free Ski days at Sunshine and Lake Louise
Pre Season Dryland training on Saturday’s. September 10-November 12.

Races:
CARC (Nakiska) Jan 21/22, Caribou Cup (Norquay) Feb 11/12, Marmot (Jasper) March 11/12, NASA (Nakiska) April 8/9.

Program Cost: $3135

Additional Costs include:
– Alberta Alpine Athlete registration – $105 (per athlete)
– Family membership with the Banff Alpine Racers $150 (per family)
– Racer account required for U12 to cover race and dryland costs $740

4 Provincial Races, Ski Cross & in house Cookie Cup Race
Free Ski days at Sunshine and Lake Louise
Pre Season Dryland training -September 7-November 12, Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Saturday’s.

Program Cost: $3990
