The Banff Alpine Racers and Bow Valley Quikies exist to promote the sport of alpine ski racing.

The Bow Valley Quikies (BVQ) offers a ski development program for young children ages 4 through to 11 years of age. The Club focuses on skill acquisition and igniting the spirit of the sport through friendly competition. This framework is established by Alpine Canada Alpin’s AIM 2 WIN document; which identifies key phases for long term skier development.

The Banff Alpine Racers (BAR) incorporate racing attributes with the  skill development learned at the younger ages to generate ski racers competitive at U14, U16 and FIS categories.
